Functional Description
The CI810B Fieldbus Communications Interface (FCI) is a communication interface between an Advant
Controller connected to the Advant Fieldbus 100 and the S800 I/O modules connected to the Modulebus.
The termination board is a unit where most of the external connections terminates. It is grounded to the
DIN-rail through a metallic spring connector. The board carries screw terminals for power supply and
redundant power supply monitoring, and screw terminals for Advant Fieldbus 100 twisted-pair.
