Description

The Eccentricity module consists of a terminal base unit and an instrument module.

• XM-940 Dynamic Measurement Module Terminal Base - A DIN rail mounted base unit that provides terminations for all field wiring required by XM Dynamic Measurement and Eccentricity modules.

• XM-120 Dynamic Measurement Module - The XM-120 mounts on the XM-940 terminal base via a keyswitch and a 96-pin connector. The XM-120 contains the measurement electronics, processors, relay, and serial interface port for local configuration. 

Mount the Module：

1. Make certain the keyswitch on the terminal base unit is at position 1 as required for the modules.

2. Make certain the side connector is pushed all the way to the left.

    You cannot install the module unless the connector is fully extended. 

3. Make sure that the pins on the bottom of the module are straight so they align properly with the connector in the terminal base unit.

4. Position the module with its alignment bar aligned with the groove on the terminal base unit

5. Press firmly and evenly to seat the module in the terminal base unit.

    The module is seated when the latching mechanism is locked into the module.

 6. Repeat the above steps to install the next module in its terminal base unit.
