For added flexibility, combination modules are also availablein 2-input/2-output, 4-input/4-output, and 6-input/6-output versions.

All modules areUL 508 listed and CSA 22.2 142 approved and meet Class l, Division 2hazardous location requirements of both Underwriter's Laboratory and theCanadian Standards Association. For use within the European Union or EEA regions,most modules have been tested to meet Council Directive 89/336Electromagnetic Compatibility.

Features

• Terminal identification diagrams on each module. Terminal identificationdiagrams are located on each module making terminal identification easier.
• LEDs indicate the status of each l/0 point. Assisting you in troubleshooting.LEDs illuminate when the proper signal is received at an input terminal, orwhen the processor applies power to an output terminal.
• High density 32-Point DC l/0 and fast response DC inputs are available. Thesemodules allow you to apply the SLC 500 processors in a broader spectrum ofcontrol applications.
• All relay contacts are Silver Cadmium with Gold overlay. Gold plating resistsoxidation and tarnishing resulting from non-use. Silver Cadmium acts as anexcellent conductor.
• Select l/0 modules to exactly match your application. Combination modulesallow you to have inputs and outputs in a single slot for efficient use of yourchassis space.
• Expand the l/0 capacity of your fixed controller system. Two discrete I/Omodules can be added to the fixed controller's 2-slot expansion chassisincreasing the flexibility of the system.
