Description
The 1756-M13 memory board is a memory board for Series A ControlLogix5555 Controllers manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Its memory size is 1.5 Megabytes and its electrostatic discharge immunity is rated at 6 kilovolts for indirect contact discharge and at 8 kilovolts for air discharge. Its emissions class is Group 1, Class A and it is volatile. Its mechanical shock resistance ratings are 50 G when it is not operational and 30 G when it is in use. The mechanical vibration ratings of this memory board are 2 G at 10 to 500 Hertz and it has an open enclosure.
Also, the incoming power and the battery power must be disconnected from the controller before installing and connecting the 1756-M13 memory board to it. The OK status indicator on the front panel of the ControlLogix5555 controller allows the operators or technicians to easily verify whether the memory module is correctly installed. The 1756-M13 memory board has a 0 to 60 degrees Celsius operating temperature range and it can be operated in a Pollution Degree 2 rated industrial environment. A 1756-BATM ControlLogix battery module can be used on the controller while the 1756-M13 memory board is connected. It is suitable for use in applications in environments with a 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity rating. When it is not in use, this module can be stored in an environment where the temperature range is from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius.
