I/O adapter modules for 1771 I/O are available for ControlNet, Universal Remote I/O, and Extended Local I/O links.

The 1771-ASB is compatible with an I/O link with 32 I/O-adapter devices and either 82W or 150W termination

Installation Information

The 1771–IVN DC input module is a source input and requires a sink output. A source input provides a positive voltage path and a sink output provides a path to ground.

You must use this module in a series B 1771 I/O chassis.

I/O Module Groups

Each module condenses 2 full module groups (32 inputs) into each I/O chassis slot. For example:

Module group 1 = inputs 00 through 17

Module group 2 = inputs 00 through 17 (module group 2 represents the second set of inputs).
