Description

S2CP471-01 is a dedicated safety processor module for Yokogawa ProSafe-RS safety instrumented system. It is compatible with SSC60 and S2SC70 safety control stations and serves as the core computing unit of the entire SIS system. It is responsible for running safety logic programs such as ESD emergency stop, fire and gas F&G, and combustion management.

The suffix - 01 represents the explosion-proof specification. It is equipped with a dual processor self-check architecture, has obtained IEC61508 SIL3 safety certification, supports dual redundant hot standby operation, and is equipped with dual Vnet/IP Ethernet interfaces. It is suitable for cabinet installation in high-risk explosion-proof areas such as oil and gas, and chemical industries, ensuring the continuous and reliable operation of process safety interlocks.
