Description

The Bently Nevada 176449-09 is a 3500 mechanical protection system-specific 3500/70M reciprocating pulse speed monitoring module, specially designed for reciprocating compressors. Its core function is to monitor the vibration status of the compressor crankcase and crosshead. It can receive input signals from seismic sensors and proximity probes and complete signal conditioning. By comparing the monitoring parameters with user-programmed alarm thresholds, it can achieve early warning of equipment abnormalities. It is the core component for online protection and condition monitoring of reciprocating compressors in industries such as petrochemical and power.

This module is designed with four channels, and the channels support paired programming. It can simultaneously achieve synchronous monitoring of up to two functions among pulse acceleration, regular acceleration, reciprocating speed, and low-frequency reciprocating speed. Relying on the 3500 frame configuration software, the monitoring parameters and alarm thresholds of each channel can be flexibly configured. It can also provide key data on compressor operation to help identify equipment failures in advance and reduce unplanned downtime risks. It fully complies with the modular architecture of the 3500 system and can be seamlessly integrated into the system frame.
